Hand Turned Mediterranean Olive Salt and Pepper Shaker Set

Handmade in the UK, these stunning Mediterranean Olive wood salt and pepper shakers will be a beautiful addition to any dining table. Standing 150mm high with a base diameter of 38mm, they are fitted with solid stainless steel tops which screw off for easy filling.

These shakers are finished with 8 coats of water based polyurethane varnish, hand polished to a high gloss for a long lasting and very durable finish. 

Mediterranean Olive wood trees are very long-lived, and a number of specimens are considered to be among the oldest known trees in the world. The timber is prized throughout the world for its appearance, density and fine texture, and trees are usually only harvested when they are too old to produce olives or are damaged by disease or nature.
