Beautiful English Yew pepper mill (ref 105)

Strikingly figured, rare pepper mill, standing 280mm tall and 55mm diameter at the widest part of the base. 

Hand turned in the UK in beautifully grained English Yew, complimented by a deep purple resin inlay, and finished with 10-12 coats of water based polyurethane varnish, hand polished to give a high gloss, extremely durable and long lasting finish. Presented in a beautiful black gift box with magnetic catch. 

European Yew is a very durable timber containing many knots and grain irregularities, which most definitely add to its beauty and interest. Colours on this mill range from a natural light brown through to deep vibrant oranges with black graining. The figuring on this mill is complimented by the deep purple resin inlay.

Fitted with professional quality, American manufactured, hardened stainless steel grinder mechanism with traditional top adjustment. The American manufacturer of these mechanisms offers a lifetime guarantee against wear under normal usage.
