Mallee burr & purple resin salt & pepper shaker set (ref 116)

Handmade in the UK, these stunning and highly individual salt and pepper shakers will be a truly beautiful addition to any dining table. Manufactured in Australian Mallee burr (burl) with striking purple epoxy resin, and standing 120mm high with a base diameter of 38mm, they are fitted with solid stainless steel tops which screw off for easy filling.

These shakers are finished with 8 coats of water based polyurethane varnish, hand polished to a high gloss for a long lasting and very durable finish. Presented in a beautiful black gift box with magnetic catch. 

Derived from the burls of the eucalyptus mallee tree, Mallee burr is esteemed in woodworking for its complex patterns and diverse colours. Its swirling grains and vibrant shades, spanning from reddish-brown to golden-yellow, enhance the refinement of furniture, turned objects, and decorative accents, imbuing them with a captivating natural charm.

All of our products are hand made, truly one-off items. The photographs show the actual product. Wood is a natural product and may have defects and imperfections. We consider these elements to be a part of the natural beauty of the material and an enhancement to the one-off nature of the finished product.
